Downloading My First Audiobook
Before downloading your first audiobook, you must install Ingram Media Manager on the computer to which you are downloading the audiobook. You will only need to install the Ingram Media Manager once.
- For Windows users, the IMM will be located in Start > All Programs > Ingram Media Manager.
- For Macintosh users, the IMM will be located in the Applications folder on the hard drive. To start the IMM, just double click the IMM icon.
Once you purchase an audiobook from a publisher, a window will appear asking you to select the application to launch. Select “Ingram Media Manager” and click the OK button.
Your audiobook will now begin to download. You will see the progress of each chapter as it is downloaded. Once the first chapter has completed downloading, it will start to play automatically. Click here to see where your downloads are located.
If you close the Ingram Media Manager before your download is completed, your download will resume when you restart the program. Note: For library downloads, the loan period begins when you begin the download.
